Our Story
Paul and Megan moved to this acreage to set roots as we started growing our family. Our breaths were taken away by the beauty of this property. We knew we couldn’t keep it to ourselves; it had to be shared.
Our wedding venue, Tin Roof Event Centre was born of a desire to share two things that we LOVE,

Gathering people together to celebrate, we aren’t just saying this because it's cliche, we really mean it. Life is short, getting together with the people you love, enjoying good company, laughter, and having fun are what we are passionate about!

Enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. The gorgeous night sky, with no city smog, the miles of gorgeous land, the peace and quiet, the wildlife, it truly is like an escape to paradise.
Our family and venue team is genuinely excited to host your wedding, this day is the biggest celebration of all. ​
We have created a space where couples can experience an upscale, beautiful venue, with low stress planning, and affordability.

About us
Tin Roof is owned and operated by Megan & Paul (& their 3 kids) along with their parents Herman & Betty.
​
You can expect chill, down to earth vibes from each of us, we want you to have a great time celebrating.
​
We keep things highly organized, easy to plan, and support you each step of the way.
​
When we aren’t busy preparing and supporting, you can find us also enjoying the golf green, lawn games, and a cold drink on the patio with our family and friends.

We love memory making and laughter as much as you!
Our Venue
Tin Roof is located in Lacombe County surrounded by farmland, forests and wildlife.
​
Fun fact, Herman & Betty (co owners) are potato farmers; they farm the land around the property.
​
We can’t say enough about how peaceful and quiet the surroundings are. A portion of our property that borders Tin Roof is Crown Land. This makes for some amazing wildlife sightings. It is not uncommon to see moose, deer, or coyotes on any given day.
​
As you drive in towards the venue. You are surrounded by large beautiful spruce trees.
Looking out on our patio, the view is breathtaking; on a clear day you can see the mountain peaks on the horizon.

We truly feel blessed to be able to share this beautiful piece of paradise with so many wonderful people.
